Technological Developments
During the past week, the team focused on fixes, adjustments and improvements to the Moeda platform. Some of the highlights include:
- Modifications made “manually” in investment transactions in Seed Projects
- Conversion of the price in the MDA Wallet
- Updates on the Seed Projects section in the descriptions and texts in each of the 3 languages offered.
- Basic revisions and improvements on the site in order to modify and enhance the user experience
- Patches for minor bugs
This week, the staff will continue to look for and fix some bugs on the platform’s features, along with running tests.
Blockchain Progress
The Moeda Blockchain team has sent an update of the Moeda Seeds App to be published. The KYC’s code has been updated to build the APK in order to comply with the Play Store’s new rules announced on August 1st (supports 64-bit version).
Meanwhile, tests have been run on the Moeda Marketplace to make sure that it’s operating perfectly. Tweaks have also been finished up on the environment for integrating the new logistics APIs.
The goal for this week is to analyze the integration of Banking APIs and move forward with adjustments in the Ethereum.
Progress on Seed Projects
The team took part in the Entrepreneur Parade event in Rio Verde, Goiás, with the following focuses:
- To present and promote sales of products and services
- To establish contacts with government officials to include Moeda in the Emancipar and Goiás Empreendedor (Goiás Entrepreneur) programs, among others.
- To present a lecture titled “Acceleration and Impact in Sustainable Businesses”
The sole NGO invited to the event, Moeda was able to exhibit its proposal and demonstrate the potential of contributions to partners. The next steps include defining Moeda’s strategic actions for this audience and arrange meetings with government and business partners.
At the same time, the team pressed ahead on a study focused on the landscape of microcredit in Brazil.
Documents were also submitted that formalize a partnership with the InovaCerrado Network, encompassing 3 major actions for the development of the socio-environmental innovation ecosystem:
- Usage of the Moeda Digital Account throughout the InovaCerrado Network Ecosystem
- Blockchain workshop for Social Impact
- Presence of Moeda products in all 16 events that will be conducted by the InovaCerrado Network
This week, a methodological and descriptive proposal on the measures for partnership activities is being prepared and will be sent to UnB, among other activities.
Moeda Progress
Like last year, Moeda supports #MulheresRurais (Rural Women) Campaign, Mulheres com Direitos (Women with Rights). As of October 1, the action promotes 15 days of activities for highlighting the contribution of rural workers in meeting the Sustainable Development Goals related to gender equality and the end of rural poverty. Under the theme “The future is with rural women”, the campaign will emphasize the work promoted by fishers, farmers, miners, indigenous and African descendants. Coordination in Brazil is done by the Department of Family Farming and Cooperatives of the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Supply (MAPA) in partnership with the FAO, UN Women, the Mercosur Special Meeting on Family Farming (REAF) and the Rural Development Directorate-General of the Ministry of Livestock, Agriculture and Fisheries in Uruguay, with the participation of Unicopas.
